We are a US based tech start-up with development offices in Argentina. We are growing but still small so expect all of the things that come with small start-up life. The expectation to step into roles that may make you uncomfortable, but are required for making good, and having major impact in the creation and building of a superfun VR studio.

ART

Our studio goal is to create spectacular interactive experiences for VR, and in order to achieve this, we need passionate people who can help us bring our crazy ideas into amazing looking 3D worlds that please the senses, so if this sounds like you, take a look at our related role.

UE4 ENVIROMENTAL ARTIST

We’re building a Battle Royale game so this person’s needs to have full understanding of the BR genre. The main job will be on the implementation and creation of Environment assets; including Lighting, Shaders, and Post Process Effects.

You are:

  • Somewhat experienced – Have shipped a title or two as an environment artist:you probably have experience in game development, understand optimization, and have a good pipeline.
  • Curious and passionate: You read and/or play games most days. You know what’s going on in the world of VR and can’t wait to talk to others about it.
  • Collaborative and humble: You know that the best work comes from a team who trusts and respects each other. You strive to collaborate with others and don’t care whose ideas win. Best ideas win.
  • Tech-friendly: We need folks who are flexible and willing to dive in and make changes when necessary, so you are comfortable with game engines, editors, and your suite of tools.
  • A lover of VR and the potential of the platform: You may fancy yourself a bit of a futurist. You know what the latest excellent ways are to interact with the world and what experiences blow people’s minds and you can’t wait to make more of them.

You will:

  • Be great at taking a 2D visual and turning it into stylized 3D worlds using UE4
  • Be flexible and OK with wearing many hats. Either way, you’ll be instrumental in developing the style and ensuring that the vision comes together in VR.

GAMEPLAY PROGRAMMER

Do you enjoy learning new features and easily transition from one codebase to another? Do people often see you as the person who can hop in on anything and deliver great shipping code? We’re looking for folks like you. Especially awesome if you’ve been experimenting or developing in the VR space and understand how to get the best experiences out of the hardware.

You are:

  • Quality Driven and Proactive

  • Flexible and Iterative
  • You’ve shipped a title or two prior: you probably have experience in game engine development, have worked on a variety of features, and are unafraid to ‘just look it up’
  • Curious and passionate: You read and/or play games most days. You know what’s going on in the world of VR and can’t wait to talk to others about it.

You will:

  • Be a master of C++ and object oriented programming.
  • Have experience and be comfortable with a variety of systems features.
  • Have a systematic approach to building software piece by piece.
  • Excited to dig deep into an engine in order to make feature improvements and enhancements.
  • Help push for quality and create usable tools / systems utilizing your knowledge of Unreal Engine 4. Must have 3-6 months experience working with Unreal in a professional environment.
  • Be able to assess, prioritize, and estimate features
  • Experience doing development for a hardware platform besides PC: Either a game console or mobile

Bonus points:

  • Have shipped a game with Unreal Engine 4.

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT

Have you read our other job descriptions? Well then, you know what we are building. We are looking for someone who can create content and communicate with our community as we develop our games and way beyond that when we are live. That’s where you come in!  We’re looking for seasoned gaming community manager folks who have experience with managing social media and customer support. You’re not just spending time talking to the community every day, but helping to create videos and images to support the ongoing development of our games. We also expect QA as you will be playing our game more than anyone. Check out our open positions below!

COMMUNITY MANAGER

  • Collaborative and humble: You know that the best work comes from a team who trusts and respects each other. You strive to collaborate with others and don’t care whose ideas win. Best ideas win.
  • Tech-friendly: We need folks who are flexible and willing to dive in and make changes when necessary, so you are comfortable with game engines, editors, and your suite of tools. Maybe you’ve even written a few batch files in your day!
  • A lover of VR and the potential of the platform: You may fancy yourself a bit of a futurist. You know what the latest excellent ways are to interact with the world and what experiences blow people’s minds and you can’t wait to make more of them.

You will:

  • Work as CM on a very ambitious VR title
  • Work directly with Production to log, triage & regress all bugs, big & small, in great detail (experience in Jira a plus!)
  • Be an individual contributor and self-starter: You don’t wait around for someone to tell you what to do
  • Take direction & criticism – it’s super important that small teams are able to trust and respect each other and sometimes that means having difficult conversations. We’re looking for folks who not only give feedback, but seek it.
  • Be a source of truth and knowledge base for what works, what is broken, what rules & what sucks about the game RIGHT NOW
  • Help with the formation of our internal QA team
  • Play to your strengths and not be afraid to admit your weaknesses
